UPSC Indian Civil Services (ICS) Exam 2019: – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 780 for Indian Civil Services (ICS) Examination 2018 for various departments. Other details are given below:-

Vacancy Details:-

Exam: – UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE), 2019

Total Vacancies: – 896

Age Criteria: – A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2019, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1987 and not later than 01-08-1998.

Minimum Educational Qualification: – The candidate must hold a Degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Selection Process: – Civil Services Examination comprises of two stages:

1. Written Examination
2. Personality Test

Application Fee: – Candidates applying offline (through common application form) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp.

All Female Candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes are not required to pay any fee.

Physically handicapped persons are exempted from the payment of fee provided they are otherwise eligible for appointment to the Posts to be filled on the results of this examination on the basis of the standards of medical fitness for these Posts (including any concessions specification extended to the physically handicapped). A physically handicapped candidate claiming age relaxation/fee concession will be required by the Commission to submit along with their detail application form, a certified copy of the certificate from a Government Hospital/Medical Board in support of his claim for being physically handicapped.

Candidates applying on-line (excepting female/sc/st/physically handicapped candidates who are exempted from payment of fees) are required to pay a reduce fee of Rs 50/- (Rupees fifty only) either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ master credit/debit card.
