  1. 4 वां हिंद महासागर सम्मेलन 2019 माले में आयोजित

4 वां हिंद महासागर सम्मेलन 2019 हाल ही में माले, मालदीव में आयोजित किया गया था। भारतीय विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर हिंद महासागर सम्मेलन 2019 के आयोजन में वक्ताओं में से एक थे।

चौथे हिंद महासागर सम्मेलन 2019 के लिए विषय था: ‘हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा: पारंपरिक और गैर-पारंपरिक चुनौतियां’। सम्मेलन का यह संस्करण हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र के हितधारकों के लिए क्षेत्रीय शांति और मानव सुरक्षा के लिए खतरों के प्रबंधन के लिए एक संस्थागत ढांचे के निर्माण पर विचार-विमर्श करने का एक और अवसर प्रदान करेगा।

  1. “ऑस्कर ऑफ साइंस” इवेंट होराइज़न टेलीस्कोप टीम को दिया गया

  1. भारत 6 वें भारत-चीन सामरिक आर्थिक वार्ता की मेजबानी करेगा

6 वीं भारत-चीन रणनीतिक आर्थिक वार्ता (SED) नई दिल्ली में शुरू होगी। भारत बुनियादी ढांचे, ऊर्जा, उच्च तकनीक, संसाधन संरक्षण, फार्मास्यूटिकल्स नीति समन्वय के क्षेत्रों पर दो देशों के बीच सहयोग पर केंद्रित वार्ता की मेजबानी करेगा।

भारतीय पक्ष से, इसकी अध्यक्षता NITI Aayog के उपाध्यक्ष राजीव कुमार करेंगे और चीनी पक्ष का नेतृत्व राष्ट्रीय विकास और सुधार आयोग (NDRC) के अध्यक्ष करेंगे।

  1. बी बाला भास्कर, नॉर्वे में अगले भारतीय राजदूत के रूप में नियुक्त

वरिष्ठ राजनयिक बी बाला भास्कर को नॉर्वे में अगले भारतीय राजदूत के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। वह जुलाई 2018 से नॉर्वे में भारतीय मिशन की कमान संभाल रहे कृष्ण कुमार का स्थान लेंगे। पूर्व में उन्होंने एमईए के डब्ल्यूएए डिवीजन के संयुक्त सचिव के रूप में कार्य किया था, जिसमें भारत के 19 देशों के साथ वना क्षेत्र के व्यापार से संबंधित सभी मामलों से संबंधित है।

  1. गुजरात सरकार, डेलावेयर स्टेट ऑफ अमेरिका ने बहन राज्य के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए

गुजरात सरकार और अमेरिका के डेलावेयर राज्य ने बहन राज्य के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। यह किसी भी राज्य के साथ गुजरात द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित पहली बहन-राज्य समझौता ज्ञापन है।

बैठक के दौरान चर्चा की गई GIFT-IFSC (गुजरात अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्त Tec-City – अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सेवा केंद्र) में सेवाओं और निवेश के अवसरों के क्षेत्र में सहयोग। जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, बायोसाइंसेज, वित्तीय सेवाएं, पशुपालन और डेयरी, बंदरगाह सेवाएं जैसे क्षेत्र ऐसे क्षेत्र हैं जिनसे संबंधित सहयोग है।

  1. इंडिया पैवेलियन का उद्घाटन 44 वें TIFF 2019 में हुआ

कनाडा में भारत के उच्चायुक्त विकास स्वरूप ने 44 वें टोरंटो इंटरनेशनल फिल्म फेस्टिवल (TIFF) 2019 में इंडिया पवेलियन का उद्घाटन किया।

टीआईएफएफ 2019 में इंडिया पवेलियन का उद्घाटन विदेशी बाजार में भारतीय सिनेमा को प्रदर्शित करने और नए व्यापार के अवसरों की सुविधा के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करेगा। यह भारत के 50 वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव 2019 के वैश्विक आउटरीच के लिए आदर्श मंच भी प्रदान करता है।

  1. यूनेस्को ने राज्य की अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक विरासत को बढ़ावा देने के लिए राजस्थान के साथ संबंध बनाए

यूनेस्को और राजस्थान सरकार ने कई कलाकार समुदायों के सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए संगीत, कला और शिल्प रूपों और राज्य की अन्य अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक विरासत को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हाथ मिलाया।

यह राजस्थान की समृद्ध अमूर्त सांस्कृतिक विरासत के आधार पर सामुदायिक-आधारित जिम्मेदार पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक साझेदारी समझौता है। यह परियोजना जोधपुर, बाड़मेर, जैसलमेर और बीकानेर जिलों में लागू की जाएगी।

  1. 4th Indian Ocean Conference 2019 held in Male

4th Indian Ocean Conference 2019 was recently held in Male, Maldives. Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar was one of the speakers at the Indian Ocean Conference 2019 event.

The theme for 4th Indian Ocean Conference 2019 was: ‘Securing the Indian Ocean Region: Traditional and Non-Traditional Challenges’. This edition of the conference will provide yet another opportunity for stakeholders of the Indian Ocean Region to deliberate on building an institutional framework for managing the threats to regional peace and human security.

  1. “Oscars of science” awarded to Event Horizon Telescope Team

The Event Horizon Telescope Team consisting of 347 scientists who produced the world’s first image of a black hole were felicitated with breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics. The prize is known as the “Oscars of science”, with prize money $3 million. The team had published the image of black hole circled by a flameorange halo of white-hot plasma on the Messier 87 (M87) galaxy on April 10, 2019.

  1. India to host 6th India-China Strategic Economic Dialogue

The 6th India-China Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED) begins in New Delhi. India will host the dialogue that will focus on collaboration between two countries on areas of infrastructure, energy, high-tech, resource conservation, pharmaceuticals policy coordination.

From the Indian side, it will be chaired by NITI Aayog vice-chairman Rajiv Kumar and the Chinese side will be led by the chairman of the National Development and Reforms Commission (NDRC).

  1. B Bala Bhaskar appointed as next Indian Ambassador to Norway

Senior diplomat B Bala Bhaskar was appointed as the next Indian Ambassador to Norway. He will replace Krishan Kumar, who has been heading the Indian mission in Norway since July 2018. Formerly he served as a Joint Secretary of the WANA division of the MEA that deals with all the matters relating to India’s trade with WANA region comprising 19 countries.

  1. Gujarat Government, Delaware State of America sign MoU for sister state

Gujarat Government and the Delaware State of America signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for sister state. This is the first sister-state MoU signed by Gujarat with any state of America.

The cooperation in the field of services and investment opportunities in GIFT-IFSC (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City – International Financial Services Centre) discussed during the meeting. The sectors like Biotechnology University, biosciences, financial services, animal husbandry and dairy, port services are the fields related to which the cooperation.

High Commissioner of India to Canada Vikas Swarup inaugurated the India Pavilion at the 44th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2019.

The Inauguration of India Pavilion at TIFF 2019 will provide a platform to showcase Indian Cinema in the overseas market and facilitate new business opportunities. TIFF. also provides the ideal platform for the global outreach of the 50th International Film Festival of India 2019.

  1. UNESCO ties up with Rajasthan to promote state’s intangible cultural heritage

UNESCO and Rajasthan government joined hands to promote music, art and craft forms, and other intangible cultural heritage of the state to spur socio-economic growth of several artist communities.

It is a partnership agreement to promote community-based responsible tourism based on the rich intangible cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The project will be implemented in Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer and Bikaner districts.
