राष्ट्रपति छत्तीसगढ़, आंध्र प्रदेश के लिए राज्यपालों की नियुक्ति की
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने अनुसुइया उइके को छत्तीसगढ़ का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया है। बिस्वा भुसन हरिचंदन को आंध्र प्रदेश के राज्यपाल के रूप में नामित किया गया है।
भारत, उज्बेकिस्तान ने आतंक के वित्तपोषण का मुकाबला करने पर विचार व्यक्त किए
आतंकवाद निरोध पर भारत-उजबेकिस्तान संयुक्त कार्यदल की 8 वीं बैठक नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की गई। संयुक्त कार्य समूह ने दुनिया भर के आतंकवादी समूहों द्वारा और सीमा पार आतंकवाद सहित अपने संबंधित क्षेत्रों में उत्पन्न खतरों की समीक्षा की।
बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता महावीर सिंघवी ने की, जो कि विदेश मंत्रालय के आतंकवाद निरोधी संयुक्त सचिव और उजबेकिस्तान के राजदूत फरहोद अज़्रील ने की थी।
राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य खाका जारी किया
केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने Digital राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य ब्लूप्रिंट जारी किया, जो राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में लाया गया जो व्यापक स्तर पर स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित कर सकता है।
इसका उद्देश्य मुख्य डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य डेटा के प्रबंधन के लिए अत्याधुनिक डिजिटल स्वास्थ्य प्रणालियों की स्थापना करना है, इसके सहज विनिमय के लिए आवश्यक बुनियादी ढाँचा विकसित किया जायेगा।
कोका कोला ने एम एंड ए के पद पर सर्विता सेठी को नियुक्त किया
वैश्विक पेय प्रमुख कोको-कोला ने अपने भारत और दक्षिण-पश्चिम एशिया इकाई में उपाध्यक्ष, एम एंड ए और नए वेंचर्स और हर्ष भूटानी को उपाध्यक्ष वित्त (सीएफओ) के रूप में नियुक्त करने के साथ अपने भारत और दक्षिण-पश्चिम एशिया इकाई में शीर्ष स्तर के बदलावों की घोषणा की।

विजयवीर सिद्धू ने जर्मनी के सुहल में चल रहे आईएसएसएफ जूनियर विश्व कप का अपना तीसरा स्वर्ण पदक जीता, जिसे उन्होंने राजकंवर सिंह संधू और आदर्श सिंह के साथ मिलकर पुरुषों की 25 मीटर पिस्टल प्रतियोगिता में हासिल किया।

खेल और युवा मामलों के मंत्री ने टेनिस खिलाड़ी रोहन बोपन्ना और महिला क्रिकेटर स्मृति मंधाना को अर्जुन पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया।
बोपन्ना जिन्होंने एशियाई खेलों 2018 में टेनिस पुरुषों की डबल श्रेणी में स्वर्ण पदक जीता और मंधाना वर्ष 2018 की आईसीसी महिला खिलाड़ी थीं।
21 वें कॉमनवेल्थ टेबल टेनिस चैम्पियनशिप शुरू
ओडिशा के राज्यपाल ने कटक, ओडिशा के जवाहरलाल इंडोर स्टेडियम में राष्ट्रमंडल टेबल टेनिस चैम्पियनशिप के 21 वें संस्करण का उद्घाटन किया।
इस कार्यक्रम में भारत, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, इंग्लैंड, मलेशिया, स्कॉटलैंड और सिंगापुर के शीर्ष खिलाड़ी होंगे जो अन्य देशों से प्रतिष्ठित खिताब के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगे।

राज्यसभा ने केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों (संशोधन) विधेयक, 2019 को पारित किया। विधेयक का उद्देश्य आंध्र प्रदेश में एक केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय और जनजातीय विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना करना है।
केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय परियोजना के लिए कुल परिव्यय 902.07 करोड़ रुपये है और जनजातीय विश्वविद्यालय के लिए 836 करोड़ रुपये है। ट्राइबल यूनिवर्सिटी आदिवासी आबादी को कला, संस्कृति और प्रौद्योगिकी के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान की सुविधा प्रदान करेगी।
संगीत नाटक अकादमी 2018 के लिए विजेताओं की घोषणा की
जनरल काउंसिल ने संगीत, नृत्य, रंगमंच, पारंपरिक / लोक / जनजातीय संगीत / नृत्य / रंगमंच, कठपुतली और वर्ष 2018 के लिए संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार के लिए प्रदर्शन कला में समग्र योगदान / छात्रवृत्ति के क्षेत्र से 44 कलाकारों का चयन किया है। पुरस्कार पाने वालों में से हैं:
ज़ाकिर हुसैन, सोनल मानसिंह, जतिन गोस्वामी और के कल्याणसुंदरम पिल्लई को अकादमी रत्न श्रेणी में चुना गया है। दीवान सिंह बाजेली और पुरु दाधीच को प्रदर्शन कला में समग्र योगदान / छात्रवृत्ति के क्षेत्र में अकादमी पुरस्कार 2018 के लिए चुना गया है।
भारत-ब्रिटेन संयुक्त आर्थिक और व्यापार समिति की 13 वीं बैठक
भारत-ब्रिटेन संयुक्त आर्थिक और व्यापार समिति (JETCO) की 13 वीं बैठक लंदन में आयोजित की गई। बैठक में केंद्रीय वाणिज्य और उद्योग और रेल मंत्री और ब्रिटेन के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार राज्य मंत्री ने भाग लिया।
जेटको की 14 वीं बैठक नई दिल्ली में 2020 में होगी।
भारतीय राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए ब्रॉडबैंड रेडीनेस इंडेक्स
डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ टेलीकॉम (DoT) और इंडियन काउंसिल फॉर रिसर्च ऑन इंटरनेशनल इकोनॉमिक रिलेशंस (ICRIER) ने भारतीय राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों (UT) के लिए एक ब्रॉडबैंड रेडीनेस इंडेक्स (BRI) विकसित करने के लिए एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए। पहला अनुमान 2019 में और उसके बाद 2022 तक हर साल लगाया जाएगा।
केंद्र सरकार ने GPF पर ब्याज में 10 बीपीएस की कटौती की
वित्त मंत्रालय ने सामान्य भविष्य निधि (GPF) की दर में 10 आधार अंकों की कटौती को 8% से 7.9% कर दिया है।
वर्ष 2019-2020 के दौरान, जीपीएफ और इसी तरह के अन्य फंडों के लिए ग्राहकों के क्रेडिट पर जमा 1 जुलाई 2019 से 30 सितंबर 2019 तक 7.9% की दर से ब्याज लेगी।
भारत और इटली ने फास्ट-ट्रैक तंत्र स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया
भारत और इटली ने निवेशकों और कंपनियों की सुविधा के लिए एक फास्ट ट्रैक तंत्र स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है।
बैठक में भारत में इटली के राजदूत लोरेंजो एंजेलोनी और औद्योगिक नीति और संवर्धन विभाग के सचिव रमेश अभिषेक ने भाग लिया। इटली में फास्ट-ट्रैक प्रणाली का उद्देश्य भारतीय कंपनियों और निवेशकों द्वारा सामना की जाने वाली समस्याओं की पहचान करना और उनका समाधान करना है।
चीन ने श्रीलंका को युद्धपोत ‘P625’ भेंट किया
चीन ने श्रीलंका को युद्धपोत ‘P625’ भेंट किया है। लंका नौसेना के नए सदस्य के रूप में, ‘P625’ फ्रिगेट का इस्तेमाल मुख्य रूप से अपतटीय गश्त, पर्यावरण निगरानी और एंटी-पायरेसी कॉम्बैट के लिए किया जाएगा।
टाइप 053 फ्रिगेट को 1994 में चीन की पीपल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी नेवी में टोंगलिंग के रूप में कमीशन किया गया था।
न्यायमूर्ति ए के सीकरी को SICC में न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व न्यायाधीश, न्यायमूर्ति ए के सीकरी को सिंगापुर इंटरनेशनल कमर्शियल कोर्ट (SICC) का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय न्यायाधीश नियुक्त किया गया है।
सिंगापुर गणराज्य के राष्ट्रपति ने न्यायमूर्ति सीकरी की नियुक्ति की है। वर्तमान में इसके पैनल के हिस्से के रूप में 16 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय न्यायाधीश हैं। SICC सिंगापुर उच्च न्यायालय का एक भाग है और उस देश के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय का एक हिस्सा है, जो कि वाणिज्यिक वाणिज्यिक विवादों से निपटने के लिए बनाया गया है।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने दिल्ली में जन जागृति अभियान शुरू करेगा
स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय मलेरिया, डेंगू और चिकनगुनिया जैसे वेक्टर जनित रोगों की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण के उपायों में तेजी लाने के लिए दिल्ली में एक जन जागृति अभियान शुरू करेगा।
यह दिल्ली में 17 से 19 जुलाई, 2019 तक जनप्रतिनिधियों, भारत सरकार के अधिकारियों, एनसीटी दिल्ली सरकार, तीनों दिल्ली नगर निगमों, नई दिल्ली नगरपालिका परिषद, रेलवे और छावनी बोर्ड और अन्य हितधारकों से मलेरिया, डेंगू और चिकनगुनिया से निपटने के लिए सक्रिय भागीदारी के माध्यम से शुरू होगा।

India, Uzbekistan exchange views on combating terror financing
The 8th meeting of India-Uzbekistan Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism was held in New Delhi. The Joint Working Group reviewed threats posed by terrorist groups worldwide and in their respective regions including cross border terrorism.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mahaveer Singhvi, the Ministry of External Affairs’ Joint Secretary for Counter-Terrorism and Ambassador Farhod Azriev of Uzbekistan.

Union Health Minister released ‘National Digital Health Blueprint’, bringing in the National Digital Health Eco-system that can ensure the availability of healthcare services on a wider scale.
The objective is to establish state-of-the art digital health systems, for managing the core digital health data, the infrastructure required for its seamless exchange.

Rajya Sabha passed the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019
The Rajya Sabha passed the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill aims the establishment of a Central University and Tribal University in Andhra Pradesh.
The total outlay for the Central University project is Rs 902.07 crore and for Tribal University is Rs 836 crore. The Tribal University will offer research facilities in the fields of art, culture and technology to the tribal population.
The Sangeet Natak Akademi announces winners for 2018
The General Council have selected 44 artists from the field of Music, Dance, Theatre, Traditional/Folk/Tribal Music/Dance/Theatre, Puppetry and Overall contribution /scholarship in the Performing Arts for the Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards for the year 2018. Some of the awardees are:

13th Meeting of India-UK Joint Economic and Trade Committee
13th meeting of the India-UK Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) was held in London. Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Railways and Secretary of State for International Trade of the UK participated in the meeting.
The 14th meeting of the JETCO would take place in New Delhi in 2020.
Broadband Readiness Index for Indian States and Union Territories
The Department of Telecom (DoT) and the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) signed a MoU to develop a Broadband Readiness Index (BRI) for Indian States and Union Territories (UT). The first estimate will be made in 2019 and subsequently every year until 2022.
Centre government cuts interest on GPF by 10 bps
Finance Ministry has cut the rate of General provident fund (GPF) by 10 basis points from 8% to 7.9%.
During the year 2019-2020, accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the GPF and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.9% with effect from July 1, 2019 to 30th September 2019.
India, Italy to set up fast-track mechanism
India and Italy have decided to set up a fast track mechanism to facilitate investors and companies.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Italy to India, Lorenzo Angeloni and Secretary of Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ramesh Abhishek. The fast-track system in Italy aims to identify and solve problems faced by Indian companies and investors.
China gifts warship ‘P625’ to Sri Lanka
China has gifted warship ‘P625’ to Sri Lanka. As a new member of the Lankan Navy, the ‘P625’ frigate will be mainly used for offshore patrol, environment monitoring and anti-piracy combats.
The Type 053 frigate was commissioned into China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy in 1994 as the Tongling.
Justice A K Sikri appointed as judge in SICC
Former Supreme Court judge, Justice A K Sikri, has been appointed as an international judge of the Singapore International Commercial court (SICC).
The President of the Republic of Singapore has made the appointment of Justice Sikri. It currently has 16 international judges as part of its panel. The SICC is a division of the Singapore high court and part of the Supreme Court of that country, designed to deal with transnational commercial disputes.
Health Ministry to launch a ‘Jan Jagrukta Abhiyaan’ in Delhi
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will launch a Jan Jagrukta Abhiyaan in Delhi to accelerate measures for prevention and control of Vector Borne Diseases like Malaria, Dengue and Chikungunya.
It will start from 17th to 19th July, 2019 in Delhi through active involvement of people’s representatives, officers from Government of India, Government of NCT Delhi, all three Delhi Municipal Corporations, New Delhi Municipal Council, Railways and Cantonment board and other stakeholders to combat malaria, dengue and chikungunya.
