सीसीआई ने इंडियाबुल्स हाउसिंग फाइनेंस और लक्ष्मी विलास बैंक के विलय को मंजूरी दी
भारतीय प्रतिस्पर्धा आयोग (CCI) ने इंडियाबुल्स हाउसिंग फाइनेंस और लक्ष्मी विलास बैंक के विलय को मंजूरी दे दी है।
लक्ष्मी विलास बैंक एक बड़ी पूंजी आधार और व्यापक भौगोलिक पहुंच के साथ एक संयुक्त इकाई बनाने के इरादे से इंडियाबुल्स हाउसिंग फाइनेंस के साथ एक शेयर स्वैप सौदे में विलय करने जा रहा है।
विलय के बाद, इंडियाबुल्स हाउसिंग फाइनेंस को कम लागत जमा, भौगोलिक विविधीकरण और विस्तारित ग्राहक आधार और क्रॉस सेलिंग अवसरों तक पहुंच मिलेगी।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 21 जून को मनाया गया
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस हर साल 21 जून को मनाया जाता है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस का उद्देश्य योग के अभ्यास के कई लाभों के बारे में दुनिया भर में जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। यह अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस का 5 वां संस्करण है। पहला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 21 जून, 2015 को मनाया गया। इस योग दिवस का विषय है: योग फॉर क्लाइमेट एक्शन।
249 स्टार्टअप्स को FFS के साथ वित्तीय सहायता दी गई: DPIIT
डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ प्रमोशन ऑफ इंडस्ट्री एंड इंटरनल ट्रेड (DPIIT) के अनुसार, फंड ऑफ फंड्स फॉर स्टार्टअप्स (FFS) ने पिछले 3 वर्षों में 249 स्टार्टअप को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की है। DPIIT निगरानी एजेंसी है और लघु उद्योग विकास बैंक FFS के लिए परिचालन एजेंसी है।
एफएफएस सेबी पंजीकृत वैकल्पिक निवेश कोष (एआईएफ) के कोष में योगदान देता है। बदले में इन एएलएफ को स्टार्टअप्स में एफएफएस के तहत कम से कम दो बार योगदान करना होगा।
वित्त वर्ष 1919 में पीएनबी के खराब ऋणों की वसूली बढ़कर दोगुनी होकर 320,000 करोड़ हो गई
पीएनबी के अध्यक्ष सुनील मेहता ने कहा कि वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान राज्य के स्वामित्व वाले ऋणदाता ने 20,000 करोड़ डॉलर के ऋणों की वसूली की, जो पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में वसूली राशि से लगभग दोगुना है। फरवरी 2018 में सामने आए नीरव मोदी घोटाले के बाद PNB को भारी नुकसान उठाना पड़ा।
चुनौतियों के बावजूद वित्त वर्ष 18 के दौरान 512,283 करोड़ के नुकसान के मुकाबले 9,975 करोड़।
सेबी डेरिवेटिव पर मार्जिन की समीक्षा के लिए पैनल की स्थापना की
एनएसई क्लियरिंग लिमिटेड डेरिवेटिव पर मार्जिन की समीक्षा करने के लिए सेबी द्वारा स्थापित पैनल का नेतृत्व करेगा। पैनल माध्यमिक बाजार सलाहकार समिति को अपनी सिफारिशें देगा।
डेरिवेटिव सेगमेंट पर ये मार्जिन सबसे कुशल तरीके से जोखिम का प्रबंधन नहीं करते हुए ट्रेडिंग की लागत को बढ़ा रहे हैं।
विश्व संगीत दिवस 21 जून को मनाया गया
विश्व संगीत दिवस हर साल 21 जून को मनाया जाता है। हर साल दुनिया भर में फ्रांस सहित 120 से अधिक देशों और 700 शहरों में कार्यक्रम होते हैं। इस आयोजन को Fête de la Musique (या विश्व संगीत दिवस) के रूप में भी जाना जाता है और 1982 में फ्रांस में उत्पन्न हुआ।
उद्योग शुरू करने के लिए 50 लाख तक के संपार्श्विक-मुक्त ऋण: राष्ट्रपति
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने कहा कि सरकार उद्यमियों के लिए 50 लाख तक के संपार्श्विक-मुक्त ऋण पेश करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधान मंत्री मुद्रा योजना के तहत स्वरोजगार के लिए 19 करोड़ ऋण वितरित किए गए हैं। कोविंद ने आगे कहा, “अब इस योजना का विस्तार करके 30 करोड़ लोगों को शामिल करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।”

अन्नू रानी ने 58 वीं ओस्ट्रावा गोल्डन स्पाइक एथलेटिक्स मीट, IAAF वर्ल्ड चैलेंज इवेंट में महिलाओं की भाला प्रतियोगिता में कांस्य जीता। जबकि क्रोएशिया की सारा कोलक ने स्वर्ण और स्लोवेनिया की मार्टिना रेटज ने रजत पदक जीता।

TIIDEM (ECI) ने चुनावी प्रौद्योगिकी पर क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया
इंडिया इंटरनेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ डेमोक्रेसी एंड इलेक्शन मैनेजमेंट (IIIDEM) (ECI) ने म्यांमार के केंद्रीय चुनाव आयोग के चुनाव अधिकारियों के लिए चुनाव में प्रौद्योगिकी के उपयोग पर पांच दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। चुनावी प्रौद्योगिकी पर क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम 2018-19 में निर्धारित 09 कार्यक्रमों की श्रृंखला में 7 वां कार्यक्रम है।
भारत के चुनाव आयुक्त सुशील चंद्रा ने इस अवसर पर दुनिया भर में लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करने और प्रौद्योगिकी के उपयोग के माध्यम से चुनावी प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता, विश्वास और निष्पक्षता बनाने के लिए चुनाव प्रबंधन निकायों के बीच चुनाव की सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को साझा करने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
CCI approves Indiabulls Housing Finance and Lakshmi Vilas Bank merger
Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the merger of the Indiabulls Housing Finance and Lakshmi Vilas Bank.
Lakshmi Vilas Bank is going to merge with Indiabulls Housing Finance in a share swap deal with intent to create a combined entity with a larger capital base and wider geographical reach.
After the merger, Indiabulls Housing Finance will get access to low cost deposits, geographical diversification and expanded client base and cross selling opportunities.
International Day of Yoga observed on 21 June
The International Day of Yoga celebrated on 21st June every year. The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. This is the 5th Edition of International Day of Yoga. First International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June, 2015. Theme of this Yoga Day is: Yoga for Climate Action.
249 startups were given financial support with FFS: DPIIT
According to Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) have provided financial support to 249 startups in last 3 years. The DPIIT is the monitoring agency and Small Industries Development Bank of India is the operating agency for FFS.
FFS contributes to the corpus of SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). These AlFs in turn have to invest at least twice the contribution under FFS in startups.
PNB’s recovery of bad loans doubled to 320,000 crore in FY19
PNB Chairman Sunil Mehta said the state-owned lender recovered $20,000 crore of bad loans during FY19, almost double the recovery amount the previous year. PNB suffered heavy losses following the Nirav Modi scam, unearthed in February 2018. The bank was able to narrow its FY19 loss to
9,975 crore against 512,283-crore loss during FY18 despite the challenges, Mehta said.
SEBI sets up panel to review margins on derivatives
NSE Clearing Ltd. will head the panel set up by SEBI to review margins on derivatives. The panel will submit its recommendations to the Secondary Market Advisory Committee.
These margins on the derivatives segment are pushing up the cost of trading while not managing risk in the most efficient manner.
World Music Day celebrated 21 June
World Music Day is observed every year on June 21. Each year there are events in over 120 countries and 700 cities around the world, not including France where there were too many events to count. The event is also known as Fête de la Musique (or World Music Day) and originated in France in 1982.
Collateral-free loans up to 50 lakh to be introduced: President
President Ram Nath Kovind said the government will introduce collateral-free loans up to 350 lakh for entrepreneurs. He added that 19 crore loans have been disbursed for self-employment under the flagship Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. “An effort will now be made to cover 30 crore people by expanding this scheme,” Kovind further said.

TIIDEM (ECI) orgnises capacity building program on Electoral Technology
The India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) (ECI) organized five-day training programme on Use of Technology in Elections for Election Officials of Union Election Commission of Myanmar. The Capacity Building Programs on Electoral technology is the 7th program in the series of the 09 programs scheduled across 2018-19.
On the occasion the Election Commissioner of India Sushil Chandra emphasised on the need of sharing best practices of Elections among Election Management Bodies to strengthen the democracy around the world and create transparency, trust and fairness in the electoral process through the use of technology.
