Losar festival celebrated in Himachal Pradesh
Losar festival was celebrated at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The festival is celebrated on the 1st day of the lunisolar Tibetan calendar also called Tibetan New Year. Losar is a festival in Tibetan Buddhism. Prayers were offered at Dorje Drak Monastery in Shimla. Cultural events were held in different parts of the state as the Tibetan community celebrated the festival.
National Conference on Coastal Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience 2020
The National Conference on Coastal Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (CDRR&R) 2020 was held in New Delhi. The national conference was organised by the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM). The aim of the conference was to enhance human capacity in terms of better understanding about coastal disaster risks and effective collaborative actions with the implementation of Prime Minister’s 10-point agenda and Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. The national conference featured the participation of over 175 participants from various central and state organisation/departments.
ISRO to launch Geo Imaging Satellite “GISAT-1”
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch the Geo Imaging Satellite “GISAT-1”. GISAT-1 will be launched by Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F10) from the Second Launch Pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch of GISAT-1 has been tentatively scheduled at 17:43 Hrs IST on March 05, 2020.
The Geo Imaging Satellite “GISAT-1” is an agile Earth observation satellite which has been planned to be placed in a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit by GSLV-F10. The satellite weighing about 2275 kg will reach the final geostationary orbit with the help of onboard propulsion system installed on it. The GSLV flight will be carrying an Ogive shaped payload having a diameter of 4 metre.
Abhay Kumar Singh becomes new MD of NHPC
National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) announced the appointment of Abhay Kumar Singh as the company’s Chairman & Managing Director. He will replace Ratish Kumar. In 1983, he completed his Civil Engineering from NIT (National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal). He joined NFPC at Tanakpur HE (Hydro-Electric) Project as a Probationary executive in 1985 & played a vital role in many hydroelectric projects for 35 years.
Joint Ministerial Commission between India and Australia hosts in New Delhi
The Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) between India and Australia was held in New Delhi. This was the 16th edition of the session. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry, Government of India and honourable Senator Simon Birmingham, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Government of Australia co-chaired the joint ministerial commission held between two countries.
The session featured the participation of delegates from Departments of Fisheries, Revenue, Commerce, Agriculture, Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (D T) and Ministry of External Affairs.
“EASE 3.0” launched for techenabled banking for aspiring India
“Enhanced Access and Service Excellence (EASE) 3.0” has been launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman along with the EASE 2.0 Annual Report at Indian Banks’ Association function. This has been launched for smart, tech-enabled banking for aspiring India.
EASE 3.0 is expected to provide advanced solutions to make the public sector banking smart and technology-enabled. Some key facilities like Palm Banking for “End-to-end digital delivery of financial service”, “Banking on Go” via EASE banking outlets at frequently visited spots like campuses, stations, complexes and malls will be provided by the EASE 3.0 reforms agenda.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में लोसार त्यौहार मनाया गया
हिमाचल प्रदेश के धर्मशाला में लोसार उत्सव मनाया गया। इस त्योहार को स्थानीय तिब्बती कैलेंडर के पहले दिन पर मनाया जाता है जिसे तिब्बती नव वर्ष भी कहा जाता है। लोसार तिब्बती बौद्ध धर्म में एक त्योहार है। शिमला में दोरजे द्रक मठ में प्रार्थना की गई। राज्य के विभिन्न हिस्सों में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए क्योंकि तिब्बती समुदाय ने त्योहार मनाया।
कॉस्टल डिजास्टर रिस्क रिडक्शन एंड रेसिलिएंस 2020 पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन
कॉस्टल डिजास्टर रिस्क रिडक्शन एंड रेसिलिएंस (सीडीआरआर और आर) 2020 पर राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया गया था। राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का आयोजन राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन संस्थान (NIDM) द्वारा किया गया था। सम्मेलन का उद्देश्य तटीय आपदा जोखिमों के बारे में बेहतर समझ और आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण के लिए प्रधान मंत्री के 10-बिंदु एजेंडा और सेंदाई फ्रेमवर्क के कार्यान्वयन के साथ प्रभावी सहयोगात्मक कार्यों के संदर्भ में मानव क्षमता को बढ़ाना था। राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में विभिन्न केंद्रीय और राज्य संगठन / विभागों के 175 से अधिक प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया।
ISRO जियो इमेजिंग सैटेलाइट “GISAT-1” लॉन्च करने के लिए करेगा
भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) जियो इमेजिंग सैटेलाइट “GISAT-1” लॉन्च करेगा। GISAT-1 को जियोसिंक्रोनस सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल (GSLV-F10) द्वारा सतीश धवन स्पेस सेंटर (SDSC) शेयर, श्रीहरिकोटा के सेकंड लॉन्च पैड से लॉन्च किया जाएगा। जीआईएसएटी -1 का प्रक्षेपण 05 मार्च, 2020 को अस्थायी रूप से 17:43 बजे IST पर निर्धारित किया गया है।
जियो इमेजिंग सैटेलाइट “जीआईएसएटी -1” एक फुर्तीली पृथ्वी अवलोकन उपग्रह है जिसे जीएसएलवी-एफ 10 द्वारा जियोसिंक्रोनस ट्रांसफर ऑर्बिट में रखा जाने की योजना बनाई गई है। लगभग 2275 किलोग्राम वजन का उपग्रह उस पर स्थापित ऑनबोर्ड प्रणोदन प्रणाली की मदद से अंतिम भूस्थिर कक्षा में पहुंचेगा। जीएसएलवी की उड़ान 4 मीटर व्यास वाले ओगिव आकार के पेलोड ले जाएगी।
अभय कुमार सिंह NHPC के नए MD बने
नेशनल हाइड्रोइलेक्ट्रिक पावर कॉर्पोरेशन (NHPC) ने अभय कुमार सिंह को कंपनी के अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में नियुक्त करने की घोषणा की। वह रतीश कुमार का स्थान लेंगे। 1983 में, उन्होंने एनआईटी (राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, दुर्गापुर, पश्चिम बंगाल) से सिविल इंजीनियरिंग पूरी की। वह 1985 में एनएफपीसी में टनकपुर एचई (हाइड्रो-इलेक्ट्रिक) प्रोजेक्ट में परिवीक्षाधीन कार्यकारी के रूप में शामिल हुए और 35 वर्षों तक कई जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच संयुक्त मंत्री आयोग नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया गया
भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच संयुक्त मंत्रिस्तरीय आयोग (JMC) नई दिल्ली में आयोजित किया गया। यह सत्र का 16 वां संस्करण था। पीयूष गोयल, रेल और वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री, भारत सरकार और माननीय सीनेटर साइमन बर्मिंघम, व्यापार, पर्यटन और निवेश मंत्री, ऑस्ट्रेलिया सरकार दो देशों के बीच आयोजित संयुक्त मंत्रिस्तरीय आयोग की सह-अध्यक्षता करते हैं।
इस सत्र में मत्स्य पालन, राजस्व, वाणिज्य, कृषि, उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के विभाग (डी टी) और विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रतिनिधियों की भागीदारी थी।
तकनिकी रूप से भारत में सक्षम बैंकिंग के लिए “EASE 3.0” लॉन्च किया गया
वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण द्वारा भारतीय बैंक संघ के समारोह में EASE 2.0 वार्षिक रिपोर्ट के साथ “एन्हांस्ड एक्सेस एंड सर्विस एक्सीलेंस (EASE) 3.0” लॉन्च किया गया है। यह आकांक्षी भारत के लिए स्मार्ट, टेक-सक्षम बैंकिंग के लिए लॉन्च किया गया है।
EASE 3.0 से सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकिंग को स्मार्ट और प्रौद्योगिकी-सक्षम बनाने के लिए उन्नत समाधान प्रदान करने की उम्मीद है। “प्रमुख वित्तीय सेवाओं की एंड-टू-एंड डिजिटल डिलीवरी”, “बैंकिंग ऑन गो” के लिए पाम बैंकिंग जैसी कुछ प्रमुख सुविधाएं, अक्सर परिसरों, स्टेशनों, कॉम्प्लेक्स और मॉल जैसे विज़िट किए गए स्पॉट्स पर EASE 3.0 सुधार एजेंडे द्वारा प्रदान की जाएगी।
