ISRO set to launch 29 satellites including EMISAT
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch 29 satellites including the primary payload EMISAT, on the first of April. Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLVC-45 will take off from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota tentatively at 9:30 AM carrying the satellites onboard.
EMISAT has been developed for monitoring radar network by India. EMISAT, weighing 436 kg, is intended for electromagnetic spectrum measurement. It will be placed in an orbit of about 753 km altitude. The customer payloads are from Lithuania, Spain, Switzerland and the US. They will be hurled into space at an altitude of about 505 km.

RBI appoints 5 member committee to deepen digital payments
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed 5-member committee under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani to strengthen digital payments as well as to boost financial inclusion through Financial Technology. The committee would submit its recommendations within 3 months.
This announcement was made by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das at the first event of Financial Technology (Fintech) Conclave, which was organized by NITI Aayog in New Delhi.

Kishore Biyani reappointed as Future Retail MD for 3 years
Future Retail said it has reappointed Kishore Biyani as its Managing Director for a period of three years effective May 2. The 57-year-old, who founded Future Group in 1987, also serves as the Group CEO. Future Retail also appointed Rakesh Biyani, who has been associated with the company for over 23 years, as its Joint Managing Director.

Indian-Sri Lankan joint military exercise MITRASHAKTI-VI begins
The joint training exercise MITRASHAKTI – VI between Indian and Sri Lanka Army kick started at Diyatalawa in Sri Lanka. An Indian contingent of 120 Army personnel, including 11 officers arrived last evening to take part in the two-week long exercise. The exercise is an annual event held in India and Sri Lanka alternatively.
MITRASHAKTI is one of the largest bilateral armies to army exercises conducted in the region. Based on the success of previous exercises, it has been recently upgraded from a platoon level engagement to a full Company level engagement.

ADNOC awards onshore block to Indian consortium
A consortium of two Indian oil companies, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and Indian Oil Corporation Limited has been awarded the exploration rights for Abu Dhabi’s Onshore Block 1. The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) signed agreements awarding the exploration rights. The award has been endorsed by Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Petroleum Council.

Chinook Helicopters inducted in Indian Air Force
The Indian Air Force (IAF) formally inducted the CH 47 F(1)- Chinook heavy-lift helicopters into its inventory at Air Force Station Chandigarh. IAF had signed a contract with M/s Boeing Ltd in September 2015 for 15 Chinook helicopters.
The first batch of four helicopters has been delivered on schedule and the last batch is to be delivered by March 2020. These helicopters will be deployed in the Northern and Eastern regions of India. The helicopter is capable of airlifting diverse military and non-military loads into remote locations.

Admiral Sunil Lanba inaugurated nuclear, biological and chemical training facility ABHEDYA at INS Shivaji
Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of Naval Staff inaugurated nuclear, biological & chemical training facility ABHEDYA at INS Shivaji, Lonavla. The Goa Shipyard limited has signed the contract with Indian Navy for construction of NBCTF on March 2016. This unique facility will assist Indian Navy in providing realistic simulation of nuclear, chemical and biological warfare to its personal during their NBC damage control training which still now was limited to theoretical training largely.

भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (ISRO) पहली अप्रैल को प्राथमिक पेलोड EMISAT सहित 29 उपग्रहों का प्रक्षेपण करेगा। पोलर सैटेलाइट लॉन्च व्हीकल, पीएसएलवीसी -45 श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन स्पेस सेंटर से सुबह 9:30 बजे उपग्रहों को ले जाएगा।
भारत द्वारा रडार नेटवर्क की निगरानी के लिए EMISAT विकसित किया गया है। ईएमआईएसएटी, जिसका वजन 436 किलोग्राम है, का उद्देश्य विद्युत चुम्बकीय स्पेक्ट्रम माप है। इसे लगभग 753 किमी की ऊंचाई की कक्षा में रखा जाएगा। शेष पेलोड लिथुआनिया, स्पेन, स्विट्जरलैंड और अमेरिका से हैं। उन्हें लगभग 505 किमी की ऊँचाई पर अंतरिक्ष में पहुँचाया जाएगा।

RBI डिजिटल भुगतान को गहरा करने के लिए 5 सदस्य समिति नियुक्त की
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने डिजिटल भुगतान को मजबूत करने के साथ-साथ वित्तीय प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से वित्तीय समावेशन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नंदन नीलेकणी की अध्यक्षता में 5-सदस्यीय समिति नियुक्त की है। समिति 3 महीने के भीतर अपनी सिफारिशें प्रस्तुत करेगी।
यह घोषणा आरबीआई गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने वित्तीय प्रौद्योगिकी (फिनटेक) कॉन्क्लेव के पहले आयोजन में की थी, जिसे नई दिल्ली में NITI Aayog द्वारा आयोजित किया गया था।

किशोर बियानी को 3 साल के लिए फ्यूचर रिटेल एमडी के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया
फ्यूचर रिटेल ने कहा कि उसने किशोर बियानी को तीन मई से प्रभावी 3 साल की अवधि के लिए अपना प्रबंध निदेशक नियुक्त किया है। 57 वर्षीय, जिन्होंने 1987 में फ्यूचर ग्रुप की स्थापना की, समूह के सीईओ के रूप में भी काम करते हैं। फ्यूचर रिटेल ने राकेश बियानी को भी नियुक्त किया, जो 23 वर्षों से कंपनी के साथ जुड़े हुए हैं, इसके संयुक्त प्रबंध निदेशक के रूप में।

भारतीय-श्रीलंका संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास MITRASHAKTI-VI शुरू हुआ
भारतीय और श्रीलंका सेना के बीच संयुक्त प्रशिक्षण अभ्यास MITRASHAKTI – VI श्रीलंका के दियातालावा में शुरू हुआ। दो सप्ताह की लंबी कवायद में हिस्सा लेने के लिए 11 अधिकारियों सहित 120 सैन्यकर्मियों की एक भारतीय टुकड़ी कल शाम पहुंची। यह अभ्यास भारत और श्रीलंका में वैकल्पिक रूप से आयोजित एक वार्षिक कार्यक्रम है।
MITRASHAKTI इस क्षेत्र में सेना के अभ्यास के लिए सबसे बड़ी द्विपक्षीय सेनाओं में से एक है। पिछले अभ्यासों की सफलता के आधार पर, इसे हाल ही में एक प्लाटून स्तर से पूर्ण कंपनी स्तर में अपग्रेड किया गया है।

ADNOC ने भारतीय संघ को ऑनशोर ब्लॉक दिया
दो भारतीय तेल कंपनियों, भारत पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड और इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन लिमिटेड के एक संघ को अबू धाबी के तटवर्ती ब्लॉक 1. के लिए अन्वेषण अधिकार से सम्मानित किया गया है। अबू धाबी नेशनल ऑयल कंपनी (ADNOC) ने समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस पुरस्कार का समर्थन अबू धाबी के सर्वोच्च पेट्रोलियम परिषद द्वारा किया गया है।

चिनूक हेलीकॉप्टर को भारतीय वायु सेना में शामिल किया गया
भारतीय वायु सेना (IAF) ने औपचारिक रूप से CH 47 F (1) – चिनूक हेवी-लिफ्ट हेलीकॉप्टरों को वायु सेना स्टेशन चंडीगढ़ में अपनी सूची में शामिल किया। IAF ने सितंबर 2015 में 15 चिनूक हेलीकॉप्टरों के लिए मेसर्स बोइंग लिमिटेड के साथ एक अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे।
चार हेलीकॉप्टरों के पहले बैच को समय पर पहुंचाया गया है और आखिरी बैच मार्च 2020 तक दिया जाना है। इन हेलीकॉप्टरों को भारत के उत्तरी और पूर्वी क्षेत्रों में तैनात किया जाएगा। हेलीकॉप्टर विविध सैन्य और गैर-सैन्य भारों को दूरस्थ स्थानों में स्थानांतरित करने में सक्षम है।

एडमिरल सुनील लांबा ने INS शिवाजी में परमाणु, जैविक और रासायनिक प्रशिक्षण सुविधा ABHEDYA का उद्घाटन किया
नौसेना स्टाफ के प्रमुख एडमिरल सुनील लांबा ने आईएनएस शिवाजी, लोनावला में परमाणु, जैविक और रासायनिक प्रशिक्षण सुविधा ABHEDYA का उद्घाटन किया। गोवा शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड ने मार्च 2016 को NBCTF के निर्माण के लिए भारतीय नौसेना के साथ अनुबंध पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे। यह अनूठी सुविधा उनके एनबीसी क्षति नियंत्रण प्रशिक्षण के दौरान अपने सैनिकों को परमाणु, रासायनिक और जैविक युद्ध का यथार्थवादी सिमुलेशन प्रदान करने में भारतीय नौसेना की सहायता करेगी। बड़े पैमाने पर सैद्धांतिक प्रशिक्षण तक सीमित।
