IBPS RRB Office Assistant Syllabus Details: – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting Online Common Written Examination (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Syllabus details are as follows….

 

  1. English Reading:-

Comprehension, cloze-test, double fillers, error spotting, sentence correction, parajumbles, paragraph completion, para summary, commonly misspelled words, Fill in the blanks, idioms and phrases, Sentence corrector and vocabulary.

 

  1. Reasoning ability:-

Sitting arrangements, tabulation, logical reasoning, syllogism, input output, coding decoding, Alphanumeric series, blood relation, ranking, data sufficiency, distance and direction, coded inequalities, verbal reasoning, assumption, argument, course of action ,cause and effect, interference, decision making , analogy,  puzzle, sitting arrangement.

 

  1. Quantative aptitude:-

Simplification and approximation, Decimal fraction, charts and graphs, data interpretation, data sufficiency, number series, ratio and proportion, quadratic equations, average, boat and stream, simple interest, compound interest percentage, profit and loss, mixture and alligations, permutation and combination, time and distance, probability, partnership, surds and indices, mensuration -cylinder, cone, sphere, sequence and series, quadratic equation, number system, Pipe and cistern, time and work.

 

  1. General awareness: – This section compiles of three different sub sections which are:-
  2. Current affairs
  3. Banking & Financial affairs
  4. Static awareness

 

  1. Current affairs:-

It includes topic such as important Bank news, economic affairs, National and international news, Sports, repo rate, reverse repo rate, Banking terms, recent state affairs, agreements, visits, award and Honors, submit and conferences and obituaries.

 

  1. Banking and Finance affairs

This topic consist of Financial news, banking abbreviations, Banking Regulation Act 1949, finance, about RBI and functions of RBI, policy rate, types of accounts, Negotiable Instruments Act 1881, money market instruments, priority sector leading, financial inclusion, money market instruments , banking Ombudsman scheme 2006 and more.

 

  1. Static awareness:-

It includes topics like International organisations, important day, capital and currency, agreements and deal, books and authors, Honors and awards, National and international appointments, famous obituaries etc.

 

  1. Computers:-

Number system, history of computer, hardware, software, database, communication networking LAN, WAN, internet (concept, history working environment, application, security tool, virus, hackers), MS Office, MS Windows, logic gates, binary conversations, and flowchart .
