SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam Pattern: – SSC conduct Junior Hindi Translator (in Subordinate Offices) exam, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak (Central Hindi Training Institute.) Exam Pattern details are given below:-
Process of Examination:- Examination process of Junior Hindi Translator consists of two stages:-
(i) Written Examination
(a) Paper-I
(b) Paper-II
(ii) Personality Test/Interview
(i) Written Examination: – Written Examination consists of two stages i.e. paper-I and paper-II:-
(a) Paper-I:-
General Hindi – 100 marks (objective type)
General English – 100 marks (objective type)
(b) Paper-II:-
Translation & Essay type – 200 marks (conventional type)

Note:-
(a) Paper-l will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. Paper-ll shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates who attain the minimum qualifying standard in Paper-l or part thereof as may be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.
(b) There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-l. Candidates are therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
(ii) Personality Test/ Interview: – Only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in paper l and Paper ll of the written examination as may be fixed by the commission at their discretion, will be eligible to appear at the interview. Interview will be conducted for 100 Marks.
