SSC MTS Selection Process details: – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts exam for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Selection procedure of exam is as below:-
There are 2 stages involved in SSC MTS selection process i.e. clearing Paper1 and Paper 2. The final mode of selection of candidates for the post of Multi Tasking Staff is based on their performance in SSC MTS Paper 1. SSC MTS Paper 1 is of objective type and acts as a preliminary test. Those who are able to attain the cut off for Paper 1 will be shortlisted for Paper 2.
SSC MTS cut offs for Paper 1 and qualifying marks in Paper 2 may be different for vacancies in each State / UT will be finally selected solely on the basis of their performance in Paper subject their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper 2.
(i) Paper-I Questions on ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be simple, of a level that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably.
(ii) Paper-ll: The Paper will be set in English and Hindi and to the extent possible in other languages mentioned in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution, to test basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post. Candidates will be required to write one short essay / letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of Constitution.
(iii)Documents veriﬁcation will be conducted for those candidates who have qualiﬁed in written examination.
