RBI Assistant Examination Selection process: – Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts the Examination for the recruitment of Assistant for the various branches of the Banks which will be conducted online. Candidates, intending to apply for the post should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by RBI. Selection process is as follows….
Selection Process: – The RBI Assistant selection process will be carried out in three stages. The first one is Preliminary Examination, second stage is Main Examination & third stage is Language Proficiency Test (LPT) conducted by RBI.
Online Examination: – Examination will be conducted in two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main which consists of objective type questions. Total marks of the Preliminary exam are 100 and duration is 1 hour & total marks on Main exam are 200 marks and duration is 2 hours. There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If a question is left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question. All the tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): – The candidates provisionally selected from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned (Annex-IV). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
