Sub Inspector in CPOs Exams (CPO)

SSC SI & ASI (Delhi  police, CAPFs, CISF) Exam Eligibility: – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the employment notification to conduct the Examination for Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistance Sub Inspector (ASI) in CISF. Eligibility details are given below:-

Nationality/ Citizenship:-

A candidate must be either:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after, the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

Age Limit: – Candidate should be 20-25 years as on 01-08-2018 (Candidates born not before 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-1998).

Permissible relaxation in Upper age limit for different categories is as under:-

Educational Qualification: – Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or institute.

NOTE:- For the post of Sub Inspector in  Delhi Police male (only) candidates must possess and also carry a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement test.

Physical Endurance Test (PET) (for all post):-

For male candidates only:-

  1. 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  2. 6 km race in 6.5 minutes
  3. Long Jump : 3.65 meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump : 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  5. Shot put (16 Lbs) : 4.5 meters in 3 chances

 

For female candidates only:-

(i)        100 meters race in 18 seconds

(ii)       800 meters race in 4 minutes

(iii)      Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances

(iv)      High Jump: 0.9 meters in 3 chances
